Fred Tannenbaum, a partner in Gould & Ratner’s Corporate Practice, led a panel discussion at the 2019 America-Israel Chamber of Commerce Spring Innovation Spotlight, which will be featured in the Chicago Reader. The event highlighted the medical cannabis industry and covered a variety of aspects of the business such as investing, legal and compliance matters, trends and outlook, business challenges, and innovation. This is most timely as the Knesset recently approved medical cannabis for export, and the industry is hot in the Midwest and the U.S. generally.

Amy Blumenthal, Managing Partner at Gould & Ratner, was recognized as one of Chicago’s “Notable Women Executives Over 50” for 2019 by Crain’s Chicago Business. The 50 women featured represent influential women executives, CEOs, members of the C-suite, entrepreneurs and top managers working in the legal, accounting, consulting and real estate industries and in the nonprofit sector. Amy was also recognized by Crain’s as one of “Chicago’s Notable Women Lawyers” for 2018.
