Rich Reizen, Chair of Gould & Ratner’s Construction Practice, was featured in an E&E News article “Businesses Break Contracts and Blame Virus. Is Climate Next?” where he discussed the impact of how the pandemic demonstrates why lawyers should be writing clear and specific terms in case of delays or project hiccups, which he noted have been the biggest issue in some construction disputes stemming from quarantine efforts.

Karin O’Connell Appointed Co-Chair for ABA’s Endangered Species Committee
Karin O’Connell, a member of Gould & Ratner’s Litigation Practice, was recently chosen to serve as Co-Chair for the ABA Endangered Species Committee. The committee focuses on Endangered Species Act (ESA) law, policy and practice, providing alerts, expert analyses and forum discussions for members. Karin will begin her leadership role in August of 2020.
