Joe Marzo, partner in Gould & Ratner’s Real Estate Practice, spoke on an Illinois RE Journal’s webinar series Force Majeure: The Effect of COVID-19 on Contracts.

David Arnburg, Paul Carroll, Joe Marzo and Rich Reizen, presented a Building Owner and Managers Association (BOMA) webinar this week on “Force Majure Clauses: What it Means for Building Owners.” Topics discussed included the effect of the clause on leases, real estate contracts and construction contracts and business interruption coverage for losses related to COVID-19.

Gould & Ratner is pleased to announce that five attorneys have been selected as 2020 Illinois Super Lawyers. Each year, no more than five percent of Illinois lawyers receive this honor.
